Background

Different Is Beautiful is inspired by my beautiful granddaughter, Destiny who was born "different" due to a physical anomaly. Throughout  our journey, I’ve discovered that many people who are born different live in fear of society. They are often bullied and become introverts to avoid the stares, whispers, rudeness, exclusion and the unfortunate cruelty they face in the world. They often learn to adapt to living in their own world never reaching their full potential. What a heartbreaking discovery! I wanted to do something about it! I wanted to change the world and how it reacts to "different" but the world is just too big so, I decided to change the world of a child born different one by one! This is my passion!!
